The Eagles are keeping their core together, including All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown.
The team agreed to a three-year, $96 million extension, including $84 million guaranteed. The $32 million is the highest per-year average for any wide receiver in league history. It came almost two weeks after Philadelphia signed DeVonta Smith to a 3-year, $75 million extension of his own.
The details are always in the numbers, and with the official cash flow now available via PFT, we’re breaking down Brown’s massive deal.

Before the extension, Brown’s final season with guaranteed money ($21M) was the 2024 season, and according to Over The Cap, he’s on the books for a $26 million cap hit in 2025 and a $41 million cap hit in 2026.
Overall, it’s a six-year, $164 million deal that could become just another four-year, $100 million deal thanks to the $84 million guaranteed and the $21 million salary for 2024.
If Brown continues to dominate, he’ll earn over $130 million since joining the Eagles but give Philadelphia continued salary cap flexibility.
