I've only recently realised that I've been working at E.ON Next for three years now.. so this got me reflecting 💭 I started in May 2021 as an Energy Specialist, completely new to the Industry and into a company full of people will vast experience and knowledge. Looking at the people around me was a big motivator, it fuelled a spark to want to learn and gain as much knowledge as possible. I count myself lucky every day for the role I'm currently in, being able to put knowledge gained over the years into practice whilst still having the inner drive to improve. I'm lucky to have a manager that encourages me to step out of my comfort zone and push myself. To achieve something after it initially felt a stretch and out of our capabilities is a great feeling ❤️ So here's to another three..

Really great to hear from so many speakers today at Product Con. It’s been an insightful day that’s provoked plenty of thoughts for myself to takeaway.. my particular favourite part was hearing Millie Zah talk about Cultivating Entrepreneurial Mindset in Product Management.💭Thinking about growth mindset, the things that come to mind first for me.. is not being afraid to fail and learning from times when something doesn’t go as expected, to challenge one another and ourselves and to enjoy feedback to see it as an opportunity to learn (this one has taken me personally a while to work at). But one thing I don’t remember enough.. is to invest in myself ❤️ Sometimes we get so focused on what we are doing for other people, we don’t take a moment to think about how we are showing up to invest in ourselves. Whether it’s reading a new book 📚 or signing up to a course 💻 I’m going to start making a conscious effort to invest in myself and my knowledge.“Be bold and find your passion” 🙌🏼Product School #productcon #productschool
