“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” — (Action, R, 115 minutes). Two Miami police officers try to clear the name of their former captain after he is accused of corruption.

“The Watchers” — (Fantasy, PG-13, 102 minutes). A young artist and three strangers who are trapped in a forest in western Ireland are stalked by mysterious creatures.

“The Secret World of Arrietty” Studio Ghibli Fest 2024 — (Animation, G, 94 minutes). The life of the Clock family, 4-inch-tall people living anonymously in another family’s home, changes when the teenage daughter Arrietty is discovered. 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday. (Cinemark Tinseltown, Cinemark Carefree, Regal Interquest).

“Babes” — (Comedy, R, 109 minutes). Eden relies on her married best friend and mother of two for guidance when she becomes pregnant from a one-night stand.

“Back to Black” — (Biography, R, 122 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. The story of the life and music of Amy Winehouse.

“Challengers” — (Drama, R, 131 minutes). Grade: A, Katie Walsh. A former tennis prodigy turned coach is trying to help her champion husband during a losing streak. However, things take a surprising turn when she finds out her husband’s opponent is her former boyfriend.

“The Dead Don’t Hurt” — (Drama, R, 129 minutes). Two American pioneers fight for their love and their lives during the Civil War.

“Ezra” — (Comedy, R, 100 minutes). Grade: B, Katie Walsh. When comedian Max and his ex-wife face important decisions about their autistic son Ezra, Max decides to take Ezra on a life-changing road trip.

“The Fall Guy” — (Action, PG-13, 126 minutes). Grade: B-, Katie Walsh. A stuntman tries to find the missing star of a movie being directed by his ex-girlfriend.

“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” — (Action, R, 148 minutes). Grade: A-, Katie Walsh. After being taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers, a young Furiosa goes through numerous trials while trying to find her way home.

“The Garfield Movie” — (Animation, PG, 10 minutes). Grade: B-, Katie Walsh. After an unexpected reunion with his alley cat father Vic, Garfield and Odie are forced to help Vic on a risky heist.

“Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle” — (Animation, PG-13, 85 minutes). The Karasuno High volleyball team advances to the third round in a tournament being held in Miyagi prefecture.

“I Saw the TV Glow” — (Drama, PG-13, 100 minutes). When a classmate tells Owen about a mysterious late-night TV show, Owen’s view of reality begins to change.

“IF” — (Animation, PG, 104 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. A young girl discovers she can see other people’s imaginary friends who have been left behind when their real-life friends grew up.

“In a Violent Nature” — (Horror, not rated, 94 minutes). Grade: B-, Adam Graham. After a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower that holds the corpse of Johnny, the vengeful spirit is determined to get it back.

“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” — Grade: A-, Katie Walsh. (Action, PG-13, 145 minutes). After the reign of Caesar, a young ape questions what he was taught in the past and begins making choices that will change the future for both apes and humans.

“Late Night with the Devil” — (Horror, R, 84 minutes). In 1977, a live television broadcast goes wrong, releasing evil into the nation’s living rooms.

“Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring” Extended Edition — (Action, PG-13, 178 minutes). A Hobbit and eight companions from the Shire go on a journey to destroy the One Ring and save Middle-earth from the Dark Lord Sauron.

“Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” Extended Edition — (Action, PG-13, 224 minutes). Frodo Baggins and other members of the Fellowship continue their journey to destroy the One Ring.

“Minions: The Rise of Gru” — (Animation, PG, 87 minutes). Grade: D, Katie Walsh. Before Gru became a master of evil, he was just a 12-year old boy plotting to take over the world. When Gru meets the Minions, they join forces and build a lair and weapons and try to start their first mission.

“Sight” — (Biography, PG-13, 100 minutes). A world-renowned eye surgeon draws on the strength he gained during the Cultural Revolution in China while trying to find a miracle to restore an orphan’s sight.

“The Strangers: Chapter 1” — (Horror, R, 91 minutes). A couple are terrorized by three masked strangers when they are forced to stay the night at a remote cabin after their car breaks down.

“Summer Camp” — (Comedy, PG-13, 95 minutes). Grade: C-, Katie Walsh. Three childhood friends who spent their summers at a sleepaway camp get back together for a summer camp reunion.

“Tarot” — (Horror, PG-13, 92 minutes). A group of friends are in a race against death after they released evil that was trapped in cursed Tarot cards.

“Unsung Hero” — Drama, PG, 112 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. A mother of nine uses her faith to turn struggles into adventures for her children.

“Young Woman and the Sea” — (Biography, PG, 129 minutes). The story of Trudy Ederle, who in 1926 was the first woman to swim across the English Channel.
